On December 20, 2019, the United States Space Force (USSF) was founded. The USSF was created to maintain US prosperity and security and this would be achieved by success in three categories. First, it would allow for freedom of action in space. Next, to provide an additional level of collaboration and more tools (including lethality) for effectiveness. Finally, to create an independent option for US leadership to achieve additional goals.
