On November 17, 1968, the New York Jets and the Oakland Raiders played a back-and-forth football game. Although the game was televised and as the game approached its conclusion it was an even contest, the end of the game was not broadcast. The network that televised the game stuck with its original programming at the children’s movie Heidi began at 7 pm as the game was in its final minute.
