In April 1970, Apollo 13, a US mission to land astronauts on the moon, experienced mechanical difficulties as several systems on the spacecraft failed. Despite facing complicated problems with limited resources, the NASA team that included the astronauts in space and scientists and astronauts on earth, Apollo 13 was able to safely navigate back to earth.
