Paul Revere was an American silversmith and early industrialist. He is also rumored to have completed an essential midnight ride on April 18, 1775. Paul Revere rode from Boston toward Lexington and warned fellow Americans, particularly militia leaders, and members, of the approaching British forces heading for the towns of Lexington and Concord. Although several inaccuracies exist and some people question whether it happened, Paul Revere’s Ride has remained a meaningful story, perhaps even a legend, that occurred during the American Revolution.
